Got burned by Odsherred Utilities: New practice has cost customers

An expected loss of up to 15 million DKK on Odsherred Utilities has had consequences for Tjæreborg Industri. Now, municipally owned companies must provide security - this has already cost customers

They didn't think it could go wrong.

A deal with a utility company owned by a municipality - one always gets their money there.

But things did go wrong, and Tjæreborg Industri is now left with a claim of almost 15 million DKK for two heating plants the company built for the bankruptcy-threatened Odsherred Forsyning (Odsherred Utilities).
