Controversial price cap about to disappear

After months of waiting, a new agreement on the price cap for surplus heat is expected to arrive soon. The energy spokesperson anticipates that the price cap will disappear entirely

The government has initiated discussions with the conciliation circle behind the contentious price cap on surplus heat.

This was stated in a written response to the Climate, Energy, and Utility Committee.

"I can inform that the political discussions started on January 8, 2025," writes climate, energy, and utility minister Lars Aagaard (M).
