European Energy: Denmark is an immature and expensive battery country

European Energy's first Danish battery project could pave the way for more hybrid projects - but especially one thing is an obstacle, points out the company's technology director

In Western Zealand, next to a field, there stand two inconspicuous white boxes clumsily mounted on some concrete elements. These are European Energy's battery facilities at Kragerup Estate.

The project is their first of its kind in Denmark, but according to Technology Director Mads Lykke Andersen, more battery projects will be added to the portfolio.
