Seeks clarification on hydrogen pipes: CIP puts pressure on the government

With a fresh environmental approval for Høst PtX behind them, CIP is now putting extra pressure on the government to get the hydrogen pipeline to Germany back on the agenda

Originally, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners' hydrogen project, Høst PtX in Esbjerg, was supposed to be ready for production in 2026. This was then pushed to 2029, but when the government in October announced that a hydrogen pipeline would not be operational until at least 2031, this message was, unsurprisingly, met with disappointment by CIP - among several renewable energy developers.
