The objective of the consultancy is to develop a municipal waste management master plan for North Lombok Regency (Kabupaten Lombok Utara–KLU), including a four-year action plan with step-by-step initiatives for the The local government agency for environment, housing and settlements (DLHPKP) to follow, and a specific Action Plan for Gili Islands, involving initiatives for improvements of collection, local pre-processing and preparation for recycling, transport off the islands of elements of the waste, on-island treatment, and final disposal.

The total maximum all-inclusive contract sum which covers both consultant fees and reimbursables including project related expenses for workshops/seminars is DKK 900,000.
