The German wind turbine manufacturer Siemens Gamesa, which is part of the Siemens Energy group, has signed an agreement to build and operate a 500 MW wind farm in Egypt.

The agreement was signed on Wednesday between Siemens Gamesa and the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company, as announced by the Egyptian government on Facebook, according to industry media.
