After bankruptcy: Lays off 80 employees and establishes new operating company

After two months of searching for capital, Better Energy has thrown in the towel in its pursuit of a comprehensive solution to the company’s financial distress.

The companies Better Energy A/S and Better Energy Denmark A/S have filed for bankruptcy, while the parent company, Better Energy Holding, remains in restructuring. A newly established operating company, Better Energy Management A/S, will aim to create "a future sustainable operation for the rest of the group in an adjusted form."
