Ørsted in billion-dollar deal

Ørsted has sold a stake in four onshore wind farms. The released funds are intended to strengthen the company's future projects within renewable energy

Through its partnership with Stonepeak, Ørsted has unlocked capital to support their business plan and future projects within renewable energy.

The deal involves a onshore wind portfolio valued at approximately $300 million (over 2 billion DKK). Additionally, Ørsted previously raised about $700 million in tax equity financing for this portfolio, bringing the total proceeds to approximately $1 billion (6.8 billion DKK).
