Cowi increases its profit significantly: Renewable energy shows promising signs

Denmark's second-largest advisor continues its growth and advances in both top and bottom lines. Especially infrastructure, renewable energy and industrial construction show promising signs in turbulent times

Despite turmoil on the global stage and unstable markets, particularly within the energy sector, Cowi, Denmark's second-largest consulting engineering firm, achieved organic growth of 7 percent.

In 2023, Cowi's revenue amounted to 7.86 billion Danish kroner.

- The order book is swelling and growth has particularly occurred in Denmark, Norway and North America, says CEO Jens Højgaard Christoffersen to Energy Supply's sister publication Licitationen, as we meet him and CFO Natalie Shaverdian Riise-Knudsen at the headquarters in Lyngby, north of Copenhagen, for a discussion about the just-released annual report.
