Engine overhaul at Glenbard Wastewater Authority
In the past weeks NISSEN energy has had the pleasure of carrying out an engine overhaul at Glenbard Wastewater Authority
Back in 2016 NISSEN delivered two gas engine-based CHP-plants for heat- and electricity production which were the first of many deliveries on the American market.
One of the generator sets has reached the 20.000 hours which means that it is time for an overhaul that among other things includes replacement of:
- Conrod bearings
- Cylinder heads
- Cylinder liners
- Piston rings
- Complete check of the engine’s condition
Additionally, the generator has been refurbished.
