As Commercial Manager you determine and implement the sales strategy for the Danish market. You are also focusing on continuous improvements of the customer strategy and business plans and will represent the company in matters such as sales support and planning, negotiations and pricing strategies, but also to give service to the existing customer base and acquiring new customers to Pilkington. Everything to drive the business to new hights.

In the role it is important to meet agreed targets by having the organization work dedicatedly with revenue-focused and cost-conscious in mind. You have the P&L -responsibility for the Danish Automotive Glass Replacement (AGR) market.

In your daily work you are looking for best practice for all sales and business processes including compliance with Pilkington's quality standards and compliance with corporate and regulatory safety rules.

The Commercial Manager role contains personnel responsibilities as our Team leader for the inside sales team, will report directly to you. It is therefor important with leadership experience and that you see yourself as a part of the team. You are respectful and know the importance of being a great listener; you promote a culture where employees feel valuable and respected. With your positive attitude and your commitment, you contribute to team spirit and a pleasant work environment.

We are looking for the following professional qualifications 

  • Experience in professionally managing and developing B2B customer relationships. Preferably with experience from the automotive industry.  
  • Strong track record in sales/business development preferable within quality products 
  • Wholesales experiences will be an advantage but not mandatory
  • Leadership experience and have successfully shown that you can run an organization through significant external and internal influences.
  • Good in building relations with existing and new customers, maintaining networks and drive the business forward
  • Basic good practical financial and business understanding
  • Good level of language skills in Danish and English and holds a well-developed communication ability.
  • You use MS Office daily and it is an advantage if you have worked with or have knowledge of the system SAP.
