Ørsted starts operation of German offshore wind farm

Ørsted has commissioned the Gode Wind 3 offshore wind farm into commercial operation

Ørsted and Nuveen Infrastructure have commissioned the Gode Wind 3 offshore wind farm after a successful testing phase. Located in the German part of the North Sea, the farm has a capacity of 253 MW and can provide renewable energy equivalent to the consumption of 250,000 German households.

With this, Ørsted now has five operational offshore wind farms in the German North Sea.
