Delivering heat pump solution to the EU's largest geothermal project

It is Aalborg CSP and Solid Energy that are to deliver the heat pump station for Innargi's geothermal project in Aarhus

Last Friday marked the cornerstone laying ceremony at the drilling site in northern Aarhus, where Innargi and Kredsløb are developing Denmark's largest geothermal project.

Following a tender round, a heat pump supplier for the project has now also been selected. It will be Aalborg CSP.

- We are very pleased with the solution - and particularly the partnership - we have developed with the team at Aalborg CSP over the last few months. The facility on Skejbyvej will be the first of its kind in Aarhus, and it has been absolutely crucial that during the collaboration phase we have been able to come up with the best and most sustainable solutions, so we can provide stable, green district heating to the residents of Aarhus for many years to come, says Lars Bjørn Heineke, Project Chief at Innargi.
