3 GW solar postponed until after 2030

Better Energy is "adapting the organization" and reducing its Danish project portfolio. They do not rule out that this maneuver might also be replicated in foreign markets

Solar energy developer Better Energy is responding to the fact that the demand for green electricity lags behind the deployment of renewable energy.

- We respond very quickly to market signals, ensuring that we are correctly positioned for the market situation we are entering. This specifically means that we expect to postpone 3 GW of upcoming solar capacity from our Danish project portfolio until after 2030. At the same time, we are restructuring our organization to focus even more on timing our upcoming energy parks with the regional need for green energy, says Rasmus Lildholdt Kjær, CEO of Better Energy, in a press release.
