Global Climate Minister Dan Jørgensen (S) is the favorite to be nominated as Denmark's new EU Commissioner. But if that happens, he may find it difficult to get a heavyweight position such as Climate Commissioner.

Senior Analyst Jacob Kirkegaard at the think tank German Marshall Fund believes that larger countries and other candidates with better resumes are ahead in the queue.
