Vestas is restructuring its organization, merging the Technology (CTO) and Manufacturing & Global Procurement departments (COO).
The combined department will be named Technology and Operations, with former CTO Anders Nielsen appointed as the top executive with the title of CTOO.
However, this also means that the current COO, Tommy Rahbek, will be leaving Vestas after more than 25 years with the wind turbine manufacturer. His departure is set for the end of June."
