Dutch Transmission System Operator (TSO), TenneT, and Danish TSO counterpart, Energinet.dk, are jointly planning to connect the Dutch and Danish energy markets by a HVDC subsea cable with transmission capacity of 700 MW. The project will commence its site activities during Summer 2016 and is anticipated to be commissioned late 2018 with commercial operation initiated in Q1, 2019.

Complaints must be submitted to the Complaints Board of Public Procurement no later than 45 days after the publication of the contract notice in TED. The period of times begins on the day after the tender has been made public. There will be a 10 days standstill period, before the awarded contract will be signed. in this period tenders, who where not awarded the contract may submit a complaint. No later than when the complaints submitted to the Board of Complaints, the complainant must write the Contracting Authority to give written notice of the complaint and what the complaint is regarding. If a complaint is not submitted before the 10 days of standstill period is over the complaint must specify if the complainant request for the complaint to have suspensive effect.
